Footprints are leading us to the city of the dead
Strategy discussion with the newbies was very frustrating
The journey gets more hazardous, there’s a storm coming. Static electricity in the air
Dorian is driving the cart, much better than the previous driver
Lightning is hitting the ground in the distance
5-6 o’clock and the sky opens up.
We keep walking for a few more hours we stop to make camp.

The lightning seems to be fixed at a point in the distance
Navarro and Dorian / iivan
Navarro thought it was a brilliant idea to light up his sword in the middle of the night.
Morning sees a continuation of the rain and cold. Mist obscurs the view, showing flashes of the landscape, as we crest a ridge, we see
The lightning seems to be trying to destroy the monolith
Iivan has a vision of massive wave of zombies dragging down my family into the ground, led by a huge demon made of zombie corpses smiling at us as a glimpse of our future.
With that we engage the zombie horde.
Fireball erupts from Balasar fingers as earth erupts under the will of Greg the guide. Sound erupts as Luther starts to sing.
Hamlet followed the fire way of Balasar, blowing up a bunch of zombie, when the fire cleared all of the zombies kept shambling forward.
Nick’s blood was the first drawn as a zombie ogre put a hamfist into his face.
Gunnar keeps hacking in effectually on the zombie next to him.
Balasar once again played with fire, and had more success with 3 zombies crumbling to ashes
Luther made a rude noise that had no other effect
The horde finally reached the party front line.
Dorian got mauled by a demon hound, and so did rocinante
Fire rains from the fingers of Balasar on the right flank
Navarro put downs one demon hound, rocinante running and bowling over a zombie flanking Gunnar.
Hamlet invoked his love of his lady and lanced eldritch energies, to no avail.
Gunnar, Dorian, Navarro and balasar got bitten by zombies, looking deceptively greenish after the flesh on their limbs got ripped off. The dental hygiene in these part is very lacking.
New guy nick slashed twice and the demon hound fell never to rise again.
Invoking the power of helm, Dorian called a nimbus of light to bathe the unclean hordes. This light had a definitive impact, as most of the bathed zombies crumbled into dust.
Balasar, looking greenish, belches forth flames from breakfast’s leftover horrid stench.
Fat ogre got kicked by rocinante, but keeps going until the holy sword of Navarro flashes and slashed it into oblivion.
More bites were inflicted as the demonic centaur move in to attack nick. Just as the scythe bears down on the affable human – cough cough – a mystical force stops the wicked weapon.
The other centaur turns its fiery eyes on drain as the scythe flashes twice. The first blow brings the valiant dwarf down, and is followed up by another into the beard being’s back. Dorian isn’t moving.
Normal ogre goes down from gunnars sword blow.
Luther says a word of healing towards Dorian who’s eyes blink open, looking like he saw helm and it wasn’t Dorians time…. yet.
